Henri Cartier Bresson was a French photographer during the 1900's, he used an Leica rangefinder film camera for the majority of his life. He was a humanist photographer considered a master of candid photography. This photographs below are the best from his collection in my opinion, and I enjoy every single one, they all are either street photography or everyday life. The last picture is my favourite from the 5 pictures. This picture uses natural lighting and is clearing taken during the day, The shadow cast at the right of the picture is in clear focus and is not a harsh shadow. It is clear crisp and a good shadow taken. This photograph has more light tones and mid grey than it does dark tones since it was taken during the day and there is not many buildings or trees to give of dark shadows, it's only casted on the men and the wall. This photograph makes me feel worried and anxious because the expression on the mans face that is looking towards the camera is very worrying you can see he is scared and his eyes show you this, I am not sure if this is meant to be like this and this was staged but even if it is I like this photo and would like to try and recreate this photo.
